Players were outraged when they realized that the game also completely changed the introduction to the game, removing an outfit and a character, and retconning the story to relate to the new update. Fans were also upset that the update added an 11-piece outfit, which would require many gacha draws (and, in turn, many in-game purchases), but replacing the opening was the final straw for many.
