Pokémon GO Fan Survey Finally Settles Which Way Most Players Spin Their Curveballs

A new fan-made survey seeks to answer one of the biggest questions about Pokémon GO: which way players curve their curveballs. The AR title has Pokéfans go out into the real world to catch Pokémon in their neighborhoods. The capture mechanic is simple, requiring players to flick Poké Balls at their desired captures and hope for the best. For an additional bonus, though, the game allows players to spin the ball in either direction in order to throw a literal curveball.

A Pokémon GO player who goes by Mixnnie on Reddit asked the community for help in settling the big question, "Which way do you curveball?" The appropriately named Reddit user NobleCuriosity3 created a poll to allow players to cast their votes, collecting responses from over 1,500 fans about their curveball preferences and their dominant hands. A clear winner has emerged from the data, finally determining the most common direction that players spin their Poké Balls when attempting to catch Pokémon in the wild.
