With big changes from the original game to The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered also came several redesigns to fit with the new graphics, and the game's troll enemies are sparking some discussion on socials regarding their strange third-eye change. It wasn't the only change the trolls got, though. Oblivion Remastered features several updates to the beloved original 2006 game, including a stunning graphical overhaul, updates to its combat mechanics, and fresh coats of paint to the UI and menus.
On a Reddit post by user Fire-Freely, fans are discussing the troll's third-eye change, which saw a pretty drastic reduction in size. Some users feel the change is odd, and some even failed to notice the much smaller third eye at all and, at first, believed the extra eye was removed altogether. The third eye is indeed still there, but it is much less noticeable than the original game's. Strangely, the updated trolls also appear to have three toes now, instead of the two from the original game.
