Dead by Daylight will be coming to Stadia later this year.

It has been announced that Dead by Daylight will be arriving on Stadia this September. The game will support cross-platform play, and will come with a couple of new features exclusive to the Stadia version of the game. The Stadia announcement trailer (seen here), does show some of the DLC characters that have been released on the game over the years, indicating that the Stadia version of Dead by Daylight will be the complete game.

The first of the two Stadia exclusive features for Dead by Daylight is Crowd Choice. Crowd Choice allows viewers to influence their favorite YouTube streamer's match by choosing whether they will play as a Killer or a Survivor. The crowd then get to choose which character that the YouTuber will play as. The second exclusive feature is Crowd Play. Crowd Play allows YouTube streamers to invite their community to play a match with them at the touch of a button, boosting the audience's engagement with the YouTuber that they are watching.

"Launching on Stadia is an exciting step towards next generation platforms," stated Dead by Daylight director Mathieu Cote (via Gematsu). "Dead by Daylight has always done well on YouTube, it makes for such a good show. Working with Stadia allows us to push it a step further and let our community actively engage with their favorite streamers through Crowd Play and Crowd Choice. We can't wait to see it go live!"

Dead by Daylight first released in 2016. Since the game has released a large number of playable Killers and Survivors have been added to the game. This includes famous characters from horror films and games. Characters such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, and Leatherface have been featured in the game. The most recent characters to join the game were Heather Mason and Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill franchise.

Dead by Daylight will release on Stadia in September. The game is already available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
