There are still a few months to go before Borderlands 4 is released on September 12, but the game is already offering a chance for players to get a free weapon skin. We're fresh off the heels of a Borderlands 4 State of Play, where plenty of gameplay was shown alongside new information regarding the looter shooter's playable characters, loot, and open-world design.
Excitement is certainly building for the long-running series' next installment, and if you're already planning on purchasing the game, you can go ahead and get a Borderlands 4 weapon skin for free. As reported by Windows Central, Gearbox Software and 2K are giving away a free Borderlands 4 weapon skin called Hazard Pay, which anyone can sign up to receive, and will be delivered in-game when it launches later this year. You can claim your Borderlands 4 weapon skin via SHiFT, a platform used by Gearbox Software to regularly deliver bonus content to players who have an account.
