Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is gorgeous, but you might want to be careful when you're snapping pics in photo mode. As it turns out, if you're sneaking, Henry will start yelling and alert nearby enemies.
Bohemia came pretty close to its own zombie apocalypse.
"Don't use photo mode when you are stealing at night," u/FuzzyGummyBunny warned the subreddit. "Henry yelled 'NICE ONE' sooooo loud and it woke the couple I was trying to steal [from]. Real funny tho".
You might also catch him shouting 'INTERESTING!' or even muttering 'beautiful', or sometimes 'what a view', which everyone, including goblins, can hear perfectly well. He's not exactly subtle.
But there's a good reason why Henry can't keep his mouth shut: photo mode is overpowered. Think about it, you can freeze time and fly around to scout ahead and see if you're about to run into an enemy. So, to balance it out, Warhorse Studios made it so that Henry is incredibly noisy, letting everyone from Raborsch to Kuttenberg know where he is at any given moment.
It's to prevent you from using photo mode to cheese stealth, like looking around corners and such.
It's an interesting twist on the photo mode restrictions...
