Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game has revealed that it will ship in a physical edition, and it comes with a great bonus. The cozy game from Wētā Workshop sees players immersed in life in Bywater, a village east of Hobbiton. Tales of the Shire was recently delayed, but will now be offering two different options for those who want a physical copy.
In a trailer from iam8bit on YouTube, the physical edition of Tales of the Shire was revealed, and it comes with a 20" x 16" fold-out map of Bywater, where the game takes place. According to the iam8bit website, the map appears to come as part of the standard retail edition of the game, at seemingly no extra cost, though links to purchase are simply "coming soon" to the listing. Curiously, it seems physical copies are only available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, despite Tales of the Shire coming to Xbox and PC as well.
