After a two-week delay, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can finally unlock the elusive Cheshire Cat as a permanent resident in their Valleys. The iconic cat from Alice in Wonderland arrived in the game alongside Alice as part of the Wonderland Whimsy update, which was released on April 23. However, while Alice could be recruited to come live in the Valley immediately after completing her Realm quest, the Cheshire Cat proved quite a bit more troublesome.

In the two weeks since Alice's Realm appeared in Dreamlight Valley, the striped purple cat with the winning smile has been lurking in the shadows, stirring up all sorts of mischief. Now, finally, fans can finish the last part of the cat's quest and begin the process to bring him into the Valley as an official resident, according to the Dreamlight Valley website. Players who complete the cats quest from now through May 20 will also get the chance to unlock exclusive limited-time rewards.
