FromSoftware has promised that Elden Ring: Nightreign will include difficulty adjustments when it launches for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on May 30. These changes will be based on data gathered during its recent network test. Elden Ring Nightreign Will Adjust the Difficulty “The team received a lot of helpful feedback regarding the difficulty,” explained Junya Ishizaki, the game’s director, in an interview published on the PlayStation Blog. “We’ve made some balance adjustments to make the game challenging as you progress, but still manageable. Gladius, one of the Night Lords, has also been updated, so I hope players look forward to facing him in the final game.” While Ishizaki did not detail the specific changes to the Gladius fight, he also mentioned that during the network test, many players had trouble understanding the map, knowing what to do, or how to use certain character moves. As a result, the final version will include changes that present all this information in a much clearer and more intuitive way.
