The new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer footage has been confirmed to have been captured on a PS5, and the footage contains both gameplay and cutscenes. The new GTA 6 trailer focused a lot on dual protagonists Jason and Lucia, the locations of Vice City, and some action set pieces. The trailer was stunning, with a lot of fans praising the game's cinematic scope, gorgeous visuals, and high level of detail. Even more impressively, the trailer did have actual gameplay.
According to Rockstar Games on X, the Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game from a base PlayStation 5 and was "comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes." The trailer appeared to be all-in-engine, with no pre-rendered images or clips, but it has now been confirmed that there was some gameplay, and much more than fans may have expected, given Rockstar's newest statement. Surprisingly, the footage was not captured on a PS5 Pro or a PC, and notably, the game still hasn't been confirmed to be coming at all to PC.
