Can you feel it? Can you? We’re getting ever closer to the release of the Nintendo Switch 2. In fact, we’re just four weeks away from the system coming out. That’s not that long when you think about how this year is truly flying by. However, the big question that everyone is asking is…how well will it sell at launch? As we’ve covered, the pre-order numbers for the system have been insane. Just in Japan, there were requests for 2.2 million units. The UK had sellouts, and the US pre-orders caused site shutdowns for a bit. Yet, the question remains, how well will it do, and…how well does Nintendo think it’ll do?
Well, now we know, and it might actually be a lower number than you think! In the latest financial report, Nintendo revealed that it thinks the Nintendo Switch 2 will sell about 15 million units by the end of the next fiscal year:
