Gex Trilogy Confirms Release Date, Classic Edition, and More

Publisher Limited Run Games has confirmed a June 16 release date for its upcoming Gex Trilogy, as well as details regarding several different physical editions. This is just the latest update in the long-awaited return of the Gex series of platformers, which will allow many modern fans to meet the endlessly quippy lizard for the first time.

Before the announcement of the remastered Gex Trilogy, the franchise had been dormant since the late 90s. It’s a title very much of its time, stuffed to the brim with references to contemporary pop culture. Even though this is the first Gex release in the 21st century, it seems that the spirit of the series is still alive and well, with just as many questionable one-liners as ever.
