Pre-orders for Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, Dungeons & Dragons' next rule expansion, are officially live. Later this year, Dungeons & Dragons is set to go on a tour of the multiverse, with multiple products tackling different campaign settings found in the game. The first of those is Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, a new rulebook that showcases rules for the steampunk and pulp-inspired world of Eberron. Also planned for release is a new pair of Forgotten Realms books and a mystery October book that could be a return to Ravenloft.
Now, we know exactly what will appear in Eberron: Forge of the Artificer. Wizards of the Coast posted the pre-order page for Eberron: Forge of the Artificer on D&D Beyond today, revealing a surprisingly low price point of $29.99 and the new rules expansion's content. Included in the book will be rules for the Artificer, a magically gifted inventor, along with five Artificer subclasses. New species, feats, and backgrounds specific to the Eberron campaign setting will also be available. The new book will be released on August 19, 2025.
