Just like many longtime fans of the skating game franchise, Tony Hawk also wants to see a remaster of Tony Hawk's Underground. The Pro Skater series is seeing its second remaster collection with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 in July 2025, but the other iconic series, Underground, has not received the same treatment.
Screen Rant spoke to Hawk at THPS Fest, and asked him if there are aspirations to keep the series going with a THUG remaster. "I always have aspirations," Hawk said. "It's not up to me generally. I'll campaign all I can, but I'm working with a much bigger company that's a lot smarter than me." Hawk then clarified that a Tony Hawk's Underground remaster hasn't really been discussed, noting that THPS 3 + 4 hasn't yet been released, the success of which may impact the franchise's future.
Although it sounds like there are no plans yet for a Tony Hawk's Underground remaster, Hawk himself would like to see the series continue to receive such re-releases.
