Simple But Perfect: Custom Silent Hill Handheld Is A True Work Of Art

A fan has created a simple but very impressive Silent Hill 2 remake customization for their RG35XXSP handheld, and it's a brilliant showpiece. Silent Hill 2 follows the story of James Sunderland after he gets a letter from his supposedly deceased wife named Mary, telling him that she is waiting in the titular town for him. Along James's journey, he can save his progress at red squares, which show James looking directly at the player (most of the time), and a fan has taken that idea and created it in real life.

Over on Reddit, Wizelll has posted images of their customized RG35XXSP, and it features James staring at the holder on the front, just like the save point red square scenes from the game. On the back, the device has the popular "There was a hole here. It's gone now" line from both the remake and original game. The user's RG35XXSP device itself is red, so Wizelll says they just printed off images and stuck them in the handheld's shell. The result is an easy and straightforward but entirely transformative...
