A Long-Awaited Yuri Anime Gets Release Window And Massive Street Fighter Collab

The Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games anime finally has a release window, and it already has a massive crossover with Street Fighter 6 in the works. In 2021, Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games was greenlit for an anime barely a year after it began serialization, but despite the series also being big enough to receive a live-action drama, the anime received no updates in the years to follow.

Though there hasn’t been any word on the Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games anime in years, that’s finally changed significantly. Not only is there finally a teaser trailer and a confirmed release window of 2025, but the first Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games trailer reveals that the anime will have a major Street Fighter 6 collaboration by making it the game the characters play as opposed to the Street Fighter parody from the manga. That’s an incredibly big deal, and with the high production values of the anime, it’s sure to be a major hit.
