Tony Hawk has expressed support for a remake of Tony Hawk's Underground. Released in 2003, the adventure-focused spin-off of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was quite popular at the time and was followed by a sequel in 2004 for home consoles and PC. What set this installment apart was its emphasis on customization, player choices, and a story-driven campaign, features largely absent from the mainline Tony Hawk's Pro Skater entries.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024 with hints about the franchise's future. A few months later, fans were thrilled by the surprise announcement of remakes for the third and fourth installments. Now, it seems more likely that the publisher could revisit more entries in the franchise, especially one that's become a cult favorite among skateboarding fans.
