Indie game hit Schedule 1 has disappeared from Steam in Australia, though fans can rest assured as developer TVGS confirms that the game hasn’t been banned. The indie crime game Schedule 1 has been one of 2025’s surprises, with thousands of players jumping in to take on the role of a drug dealer, building their own businesses from scratch. Despite the game’s popularity, it has now disappeared from Australia, but the developer is already working to fix the issue.

Schedule 1 came out on March 24 and quickly started blowing up on Steam, reaching 130,000 concurrent players on the platform in just two days. This indie sensation—created by solo developer TVGS—invites players to step into the shoes of a drug dealer trying to break into the business, starting as a small-time seller who delivers “Schedule 1 substances” on foot, and eventually building a crew and developing an automated operation. In the game, players not only run the empire—they also craft products using different recipes and must fend off competition to protect their growing business. Now, TVGS has informed players in Australia why the game has disappeared from Steam in that country.
