Skydance Games today confirmed that the Amy Hennig-led Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra won't make its 2025 release date.
The game will now launch early 2026. Skydance Games confirmed the delay via a statement stating the team needed additional time to polish the title. The studio also promised to share more soon, which is good considering very little has been shown of the game so far. Despite a 2022 reveal, Skydance Games has shown very little of the game to the public. Knowing this, the delay to 2026 isn't that surprising.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was first teased at D23 2022, revealing that the game would involve both Captain America and Black Panther during World War II. At GDC 2024, at the State of Unreal presentation, we finally got a title and a first look at some in-game cinematics. Since then, however, the game has gone mostly radio silent.
