Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has now gone gold, meaning that the developer Kojima Productions has completed development on the game and has sent it to be pressed onto discs. The game will be ready for its June 26 release date, but will likely come with a day-one update to improve features of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Death Stranding 2 is Now Complete
"We successfully received the gold master approval today for 'DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH," posted the game's director, Hideo Kojima, on X/Twitter. "We filled in the right eye of the daruma." To help celebrate the announcement, a photo of the development team was also shared on social media, in addition to Kojima signing a statue based on Death Stranding 2.
