Developer Treyarch Studios has extended the controversial High Art event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The event was initially scheduled to come to an end this week, on May 15, but the in-game event tab now shows the new end date for the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone event as May 22, meaning players have an extra week to level up the Event Pass.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has had multiple crossover events since its launch in October last year. The first major event launched in January when Call of Duty collaborated with Netflix's Squid Game. Unfortunately, it was met with a myriad of controversies, as fans blasted the introduction of the Premium Event Passes. While there was a free option for players to partake in, players were angered over the inclusion of yet another microtransaction. The overall price of some of the skins included in the event was also met with controversy, as the community felt the overall cost of the event was far too expensive.
