Microsoft is currently offering a brand-new buy one, get one free (BOGOF) sale for May 2025, where Xbox users can pick up a variety of sports games, racers, and DLC content for decent prices. Xbox’s BOGOF sales are held quite frequently, since the platform has already hosted three sales of this ilk this year alone.
The Xbox company has been in the news recently on a much more serious note than the current sale. Microsoft announced a wave of layoffs affecting 3% of its workforce, adding to the gaming industry’s terrible few years weathering a storm of layoffs by several developers, including Electronic Arts, Respawn, and Niantic, of late. Microsoft enforced another wave of layoffs back in January 2023, when the company terminated 10,000 roles.
