Persona 5 spin-off Persona5: The Phantom X is finally launching worldwide. The free-to-play RPG has been in open beta in China since April 2024, but is now set to release globally this year.

Persona5: The Phantom X will release worldwide on June 26, 2025, for PC and mobile devices running Android and iOS, according to Noisy Pixel. The Phantom X introduces a new protagonist and story, but follows the same general gameplay loop as the mainline Persona games. However, the game is designed for mobile devices and uses an energy mechanic, like many other mobile games, rather than Persona's signature calendar system. Persona5: The Phantom X still features a combination of social simulation as a student and dungeon crawling as a member of a new party of Phantom Thieves.

Persona5: The Phantom X has been in open beta for more than a year, but it was only playable in China, where it was published by Perfect World Games. The game's global release on June 26, 2025, is being handled by Atlus itself in Japan, and Sega overseas.
