The GTA 6 trailer worked brilliantly to rekindle the hype for GTA 6. Fans are still talking about the stunning visuals, numerous activities, and tiniest details they've spotted. However, with the trailer looking so good, rumours about the game costing $100 were also rekindled. With the game being pushed to next year, Take-Two is also silent on the price.

Grand Theft Auto 6's graphics will be out of this world, but GTA 5's aren't as bad as we're pretending.

However, while everyone is raising prices – looking at you, Nintendo – Take-Two has priced Mafia: The Old Country at $50. It's not often you see a games company cutting prices at a time when everyone is raising them, it could possibly be good news for GTA 6 fans.

When asked about this difference in strategy, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that the company always adopted a "variable pricing" policy (thanks GamesRadar). What this means is that if the company feels that a game is going to more than make up in revenue, then the price will be adjusted accordingly. Such decisions are made on a "rubric [...] of delivering way more value to consumers than we charge."
