A steady stream of news regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 has been trickling in during the run-up to its release on June 5, and a new feature unveiled will help you find your misplaced Joy-Con 2 controllers. The new Joy-Cons have already proven their novelty with mouse-like controls, which will offer new options in games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but Nintendo has added a major quality-of-life feature to the detachable controllers.

The new Nintendo Today app has revealed a new feature of the Switch 2 called Search for Controllers. As recorded by X (formerly Twitter) user Stealth40k (via GameSpot), the Nintendo Switch 2 home screen contains a button labeled "Search for Controllers," which prompts the selected Joy-Con to vibrate and emit a sound. The video goes on to show that you might find the feature useful if you happen to drop a Joy-Con into your couch cushions.
