In the first four days following the game's launch, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile generated an impressive $1.6 million in revenue, and the game would go on to receive seasonal content and updates to keep players engaged. However, the state of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile in 2025 looked bleak with updates releasing less frequently throughout the first quarter of the year, leading to Activision's announcement on the future of the game on May 16.
