The mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone will be officially discontinued and delisted from app stores by Monday. The mobile version of the popular multiplayer shooter was released on March 20 of last year, making it barely over a year old at the time of its discontinuation. Despite not being out for long, Activision has decided that it will not be continuing to support the mobile game after just this brief period, indicating a lack of engagement and interest from the Warzone player base.

In a statement shared on the Warzone Mobile X account, Activision writes that the game "has not met our expectations with mobile-first players," making it not worth the effort to continue developing and supporting it. As a result, Warzone Mobile will be shut down and removed from mobile storefronts on iOS and Android devices by Monday, May 19.

Activision is wasting no time in sunsetting Warzone Mobile, with the game's end being implemented immediately. Activision will cease adding content and porting seasonal content to the mobile game. Players can no longer buy in-game currency (Points or Black Cell) in-game, and any unused points will remain on users' accounts for redemption in the non-mobile versions...
