Untitled Goose Game is getting a new feature next month.

During Nintendo's latest Indie World presentation, it was announced that Untitled Goose Game will be receiving co-op. One September 23rd, a free update will release for the game that will allow two players to take control of a couple of horrible geese and cause havoc upon a friendly town. Two players can play the whole game as two geese, and even carry each other in a cardboard box. The free update will be available for all of the platforms that the game is available on. Developer House House also announced that Untitled Goose Game will make its way to Steam and itch.io on the same day as the update.

Nintendo also reminded players that a physical edition of Untitled Goose Game is coming next month. The game will release physically for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in late September. There will be the normal edition, as well as the "Lovely Edition." Physical copies of Untitled Goose Game come with the game, a Spring / Summer edition of the Plaza Catalog, an 11" x 17" Village Map Poster that was hand-illustrated by Melbourne -based artist and game developer Marigold Bartlett, and a "No Goose" sticker. The Lovely Edition includes everything that they normal edition does, but will come packaged in Eco-Friendly packaging. The game's soundtrack will also be available on vinyl.

This past December it had been announced that Untitled Goose Game had reached over 3 million copies sold. The game had reached the milestone three months after being released on the Switch, and a few weeks after being released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Untitled Goose Game is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox one, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is a part of the Xbox Game Pass.
