The team over at Amazon Games has released a new update on Lost Ark's outlook for its future. While there has always been a bit of doom and gloom surrounding the game given its free-to-play nature and its declining player base, Amazon has yet to give up on the MMORPG in the west.
That's not to say the game is in trouble any time soon, but it's apparent measures need to be taken to improve the current structure of the game. Amazon has said they went over to South Korea to talk to Smilegate to find improvements.
Paradise System
Paradise is by far the biggest update Amazon is looking to create in hand with Smilegate in order to help with burnout and try something experimental. This is meant to be something outside raiding that has three different types of stages and is meant to be fairly easy. This is seasonal content that each character can participate in with its own gearing system. Best yet, the further in the season, the higher the drop rate for gear, so there's less FOMO for those who get in late.
That is the Paradise mode, with God's Testimony being the second tier...
