The local map in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered contains a lot more helpful information than even some longtime players of the series may realize. While checking the local map in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered can help players point out many static and unchanging elements like doors, it also sports a new feature that should make looting enemies much less of a chore.

Things have been going quite well for Bethesda and Virtuos as of late. Since its launch almost a month ago, Oblivion Remastered's sales are outpacing the original 2006 release it's based upon. The original Oblivion was a huge hit in its own right, yet a recent report states that after just over one week of availability, its remastered version had already left its predecessor in the dust, selling as many copies as the original did in its first 15 months.
