There are several new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of May, and one of the additions is one of the best RPGs of all time. Xbox Game Pass has had a stellar year, with the recent releases of the fast-paced demon slaying in DOOM: The Dark Ages, the unique and critically acclaimed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and the nostalgic trip to Cyrodill with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered. Somehow, there is still more to come to Game Pass this month, and this new addition is going to make RPG fans happy.
According to Xbox, Metaphor: ReFantazio will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 29. Metaphor: Refantazio was released to critical and commercial acclaim in October 2024. Developed by Atlus, best known for Shin Megami Tensei and Persona, the game ended up being nominated and winning several awards, including a nomination for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024. Praised heavily for its narrative, audio, art style, and turn-based combat, the new IP from Atlus became an instant classic.
