Ninja Theory today revealed that their formerly Xbox-exclusive title, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, is coming to PS5 consoles this summer.
A year after Senua's Saga: Hellblade II launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC, the developer has confirmed what many expected. The game is indeed coming to PlayStation 5, and players won't have to wait that much longer to play the critically-acclaimed title. Given Xbox's change in strategy, it was always a matter of when the game would arrive on PS5 and PS5 Pro. Now, we have a vague idea, though an exact release date and pricing haven't been revealed.
Optimized for PS5
According to Ninja Theory, the studio has spent the past few months optimizing Senua's Saga: Hellblade II for PS5 and PS5 Pro. The game is being handed the 'Enhanced' moniker, though the studio hasn't yet revealed what will be enhanced about the game. No details on resolution, framerate, or features were revealed, though we'd assume that the PS5 version would be on-par with the excellent Xbox Series X version. The PS5 Pro, however, might include some additional graphical features present on the PC version.
