On May 5, Xbox announced that Gears of War: Reloaded would be released on August 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for $39.99. The game's release will mark the franchise's debut on PlayStation platforms, and Xbox gamers who already owned the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before May 5 are entitled to a free upgrade. The game will also be a day one addition to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, so players have multiple avenues towards playing the game this August.
