WWE 2K25 contains a line of voiced dialogue that incorrectly identifies Brian Pillman as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. While the late Brian Pillman doesn't appear in WWE 2K25, his real-life son does, and a recorded line from longtime commentator Michael Cole piles an accolade on Pillman's career that has yet to be bestowed.

The roster of WWE 2K25 boasts the largest selection of wrestlers of any game in the franchise's history, with more than 300 playable wrestlers. That number includes active members of the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT rosters, legends of the past, and original creations from the development team at Visual Concepts.

WWE 2K25 recently added Stephanie Vaquer to its roster, which means that her viral move, The Devil's Kiss, is officially in the game too.

Pillman, a former tag team partner and rival of Stone Cold Steve Austin who tragically passed away of a heart attack while under contract with WWE in 1997 at the age of 35, isn't among that number, but his real-life son, Lexis King, is one of more than 30 new wrestlers in WWE 2K25's base game roster.
