Free compensation is being sent to Infinity Nikki players nearly a month after the release of the Version 1.5 "Bubble Season" update. Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 introduced a slew of new content on April 29, but the update unfortunately introduced an issue that prevented fans from retrieving some of their rewards after the update's release.
Although Infinity Nikki has enjoyed plenty of success after the game's launch in December 2024, the release of Version 1.5 has been controversial due to increased costume costs, a deduction in players' in-game currency, and other issues associated with the Steam version's launch. Infinity Nikki players expressed their frustration and complaints on the game's official Steam page, resulting in the game's Mixed user rating at the time. In the weeks that followed the launch, the Steam user rating for Infinity Nikki fell even further to Mostly Negative, with many players citing that Infold Games and Papergames have broken the trust of the community. At the very least, it appears that the Infinity Nikki developers are keeping some of the player feedback in mind, if the latest compensation serves as an indication.
