Just before officially launching alongside the Nintendo Switch 2, Mario Kart World has received a version 1.1.0 update which adds camera support, LAN and online capabilities, and changes to the new Free Roam mode. Mario Kart World will be the latest entry in the beloved Mario Kart franchise, and some players who snagged their Switch 2 consoles and copies of the game early have already started downloading this surprise patch.
Compared to previous entries in the series, there will be a number of new modes, new characters, and new items in Mario Kart World for players to look forward to. As fans across the globe are readying for the Switch 2 release, and subsequently for Mario Kart World to become playable, Nintendo has already put out a patch for the highly-anticipated racing game prior to its official launch.
