The June PlayStation State of Play had some massive reveals for several franchises, including Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Silent Hill f, and the long-rumored remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics called Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. The show was a strong start to the packed summer games event list, and we now have a better idea of what to expect for the rest of 2025 from PlayStation.
The show was streamed on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels, and lasted around 40 minutes. There were some announcements of release dates for announced titles, new reveals, and a few surprises. One of the biggest ones was the announcement of Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, developed by Arc System Works, best known for Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ and appears to be a spiritual successor to the Marvel vs Capcom franchise, featuring 4v4 2D team-based gameplay.
