Silent Hill f now has a release date after a new trailer debuting at the June 4 PlayStation State of Play. Silent Hill f was first announced in 2022, alongside several other Silent Hill projects that have met with varying degrees of success. The interactive series Silent Hill Ascension was largely a failure, while the Silent Hill 2 remake release to critical and commercial success. Silent Hill f was somewhat of an outlier among these, being the only original console game to be announced. Further information about its story and gameplay was later revealed during a Silent Hill Transmission in March.
As of today, we know that Silent Hill f will be released on September 25, 2025, just a few short months from this reveal at the PlayStation State of Play. This came in the form of a new trailer, which also showed off a select few encounters with some of the terrifying creatures players will run into as they explore the town of Ebisugaoka.
