While Ryu Hayabusa might be out of the picture, the Hayabusa legacy isn’t going anywhere. Unveiled during today’s PlayStation State of Play, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound brings the franchise back to its 2D roots with a brand-new action platformer. Coming from publisher Dotemu (TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4) and developer The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous), the game launches July 31, 2025, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
