11 Bit Studios has shared the launch trailer for The Alters during the PC Game Show presentation. The video gives us short portions of the gameplay and story a few days ahead of the game's release on June 13. It'll be possible to play it on PC (via Steam, Epic Games or Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the game available day one on Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
Surviving in a Threatening Sci-Fi Setting
The Alters is a simulation game developed by 11 Bit Studios with survival elements and a unique sci-fi setting. The concept of the game revolves around having to manage multiple versions of the protagonist, Jan Dolski, created through the use of a new substance called Rapidium.
With this mysterious element, the player can create alters whose stories, personalities and job skills vary according to past decisions. Each of them may play a different role in the mobile base, and it'll be necessary to make sure they're satisfied with their current situation, balancing out their needs.
