Capcom has revealed that the latest chapter in the Resident Evil story, Resident Evil 9: Requiem will be arriving sooner than expected. While Ethan seems to be taking a much-needed permanent vacation since his run-in with the origins of Umbrella back in Europe (Resident Evil Village), the story focuses on Grace Ashcroft.
Those not completely familiar with the series may think that Grace is a completely new character, but instead, Grace is the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from the 128-bit Resident Evil: Outbreak title. From the look of things, we’re going back to one of the first destinations of the original trilogy – Raccoon City. Or what’s left of it post the events of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, due to the nuclear fallout, thanks to the bomb that was dropped on it at the end of the game. A bomb that was supposed to eradicate the T-virus, but we all know it was really a cover-up.
