What The Pak?!, a party game that launched on Steam in 2024, is officially free on the platform until June 24. What The Pak?! is just the latest Steam game to be given away for free for a limited-time, and gamers looking to check out a new party game that can be played with friends won't want to miss out on this one, as it currently has positive reviews from fellow players.
While Steam users have yet another free game to claim for June 2025, it was only just last week that gamers were left in shock after the critically acclaimed Borderlands 2 was given away for free on the platform. Unfortunately, despite being considered one of the greatest looter shooters on the market, Borderlands 2 was review bombed shortly after it was given away on Steam as many claimed that a secret update had turned the game into "literal spyware." While Take-Two Interactive has since disputed these claims and stated that it does not use spyware in its games, many of the thousands of negative reviews believe the game was given away for free in order to "get access to information."
