The Roblox community has become aware of a new rule that’s been added to the gaming platform’s terms and conditions, and players aren’t happy with the recent change. Roblox is an online game creation system that lets users program and play games, either created by themselves or other users. Created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004, Roblox was released to the public in 2006 and has accumulated millions of games in its catalog over the past few decades.

The gaming platform achieved a stunning accolade last month, as Roblox accumulated more active players than the top 100 Steam games combined. Additionally, as of February 2025, Roblox noted an average of 85.3 million daily active users on the platform playing millions of games or “experiences,” which is a testament to its popularity.
