Every year up until now, Minecraft hosted a 'Mob Vote', presenting three concepts to the community for a future update. Players then had to decide among themselves which should be added to the game, with the other two being axed completely.
Given how enormous Minecraft is, the vote was often swayed by hugely popular content creators and their vast audiences, so after countless complaints, as many felt their picks were unfairly left out, Mojang dropped the idea altogether.
But it lives on in spirit, as solo developer Tyler has rolled out a similar initiative for Schedule 1, asking you to vote between three potential updates. Players are taking it far better than the Minecraft community ever did, and for good reason.
When you next boot up the game, you'll be presented with three options to pick from:
"The voting period will run until this coming weekend, and I'll announce the results shortly after that," Tyler wrote in a Steam blog post. "You'll also be able to see the results in-game in the main menu.
