Hollow Knight: Silksong won’t be launching alongside the ROG Xbox Ally, despite what some fans initially feared. The confusion began during the June 8 Xbox Games Showcase, where Silksong was shown running on the newly revealed ROG Xbox Ally handheld. Xbox's Sarah Bond stated the game would be “available at launch” on the handheld, prompting speculation that Silksong's release was being delayed to align with the console’s launch late in 2025. To clear things up, Team Cherry's Marketing Manager Matthew Griffin addressed the situation on Silksong’s official Discord server. He confirmed that the game is not a launch title for the ROG Xbox Ally and won’t be held back for its release. In fact, Griffin reassured fans that Silksong will be available before the holidays—specifically, before Christmas.
