The Pokémon Trading Card Game has finally revealed when players can expect the release of their first English Mega Evolution set. Unfortunately, it's a bit later than initially expected, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The late release offers more recovery time to The Pokémon Company International, which has been working tirelessly to juggle restocks of previously sold-out sets from this past year alongside new launches.
According to PokeBeach, the first English Mega Evolution Set will launch for players on September 26th, 2025, with prereleases going live shortly before, on September 13th, 2025. While that is several months away, this delay from the usual Q3 timeline, which is typically August, won't feel so far away, as this new set will be directly following the massive dual-set release of Black Bolt & White Flare, scheduled for July 18th, 2025.
Unfortunately, players are being advised to expect prerelease shortages for this set, so if you've got your eye on this one, then you'll want to keep a close eye on pre-order announcements.
While we still have no official name for this English Mega Evolution Set launching on September 26th, we do know that it will...
