News about the highly anticipated Silksong has been infrequent for years since its announcement in 2019, with fans hanging on every word that comes from the studio's reps.
Team Cherry's marketing lead, Matthew "Leth" Griffin, commented in a YouTube stream chat hinting at the existence of Hollow Knight: Silksong DLC, according to GamesRadar. With the comment being taken as confirmation of DLC already being planned for the unreleased game, Hollow Knight fans took the news as both exciting and ominous – Sliksong itself was originally planned to be DLC for Hollow Knight, before it was spun off into a sequel and began it's protracted development.
