Mario Kart World players might want to rethink their negativity towards the Feather, as a new use has been discovered that instantly makes it one of the game's most helpful items.
Although Mario Kart World takes the series in a brand-new direction by going open-world and opens things up considerably with a massive 24-player count and bigger maps, it's fair to say that it still feels very similar to previous games in the series. The core foundations are pretty much how they've always been, with the item pool remaining basically untouched since Mario Kart 8.
While the Shells, Mushrooms, and Super Horns are still the standouts of Mario Kart World's item roster, there are a few interesting additions to spice things up. One of the most divisive items is the Feather, which returns from Super Mario Kart and lets players instantly jump to easily grind on walls and other surfaces. That's not all it can do, though.
