A Minecraft player happened across an ocean monument that seems to have spawned in a particularly unusual location, planted directly beneath a floating desert biome. The massively popular sandbox game from Mojang features plenty of hidden secrets for players to uncover in their worlds, both above ground and deep within its depths. Players can happen across everything from temples in different biomes and Pillager Outposts to winding mine shafts and underground Fortresses. However, one player's Minecraft discovery serves as a bit more of an unusual oddity than the game's normal structures.

First added in 2014's "Bountiful Update," ocean monuments give players something to discover beneath the oceans in their Minecraft worlds. Ocean monuments feature several different rooms for players to explore, typically protected by Guardians and a pre-determined number of Elder Guardians. Players can track down ocean monuments within their worlds by using ocean explorer maps obtained from Cartographer Villagers, with players able to find Gold and Prismarine blocks within. A Minecraft player is now sharing their unusual run-in with one of the sub-aquatic structures.
