A big overhaul to the bank system in World of Warcraft could be coming to the game as soon as Patch 11.2. Though nothing is confirmed yet, these potential adjustments could make their way to World of Warcraft as early as Patch 11.2.
The Warband Bank is one of the new features added in WoW: The War Within to overhaul item storage. Each tab of this shared space is unlocked for an entire account, and can be accessed by any character, making it much easier to trade items to alts. Blizzard also confirmed that it eventually planned on using the UI and functionality from the Warband bank for the personal level as well somewhere in the future.
World of Warcraft teases some of the key plot points for Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, ahead of the major update's release on August 5.
Now, it seems like this change might be on its way soon. Wowhead recently discovered evidence on the WoW Patch 11.2 Public Test Realm that suggests these bank changes are in development.
